# external_payout.confirmed

Occurs whenever an external [payout](/docs/api-reference/payouts/list) in your program is confirmed.

## Response body parameters

All webhook payloads follow a consistent top-level structure with
event-specific data nested within the `data` object.

**id** `string`

The event ID.
**event** `string`

The event type that triggered the webhook (e.g., `external_payout.confirmed`).
**createdAt** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp when the webhook event was created.
**data** `object`

Event-specific data containing detailed information about the event. The
data object for the `external_payout.confirmed` event contains the following
parameters:

**id** `string`

Unique identifier for the payout.

**invoiceId** `string`

Invoice ID for this payout.

**amount** `number`

Payout amount in cents.

**currency** `string`

Currency code (e.g. `USD`).

**status** `string`

Payout status (e.g. `processing` for external payouts).

**method** `string | null`

Payout method, if set.

**description** `string`

Human-readable description of the payout (e.g. `Dub Partners payout (Acme)`).

**periodStart** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp for the start of the commission period this payout covers.

**periodEnd** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp for the end of the commission period.

**createdAt** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp when the payout was created.

**updatedAt** `string`

ISO 8601 timestamp when the payout was last updated.

**initiatedAt** `string | null`

ISO 8601 timestamp when the payout was initiated.

**paidAt** `string | null`

ISO 8601 timestamp when the payout was marked as paid (null until you complete it).

**mode** `string`

Payout mode (e.g. `external` for external payouts).

**traceId** `string | null`

The payout trace ID, if available.

**partner** `object`

The partner receiving the payout.

**partner object**

**id** `string`

Unique identifier for the partner (your system's ID when using external payouts).

**name** `string`

Partner name.

**email** `string | null`

Partner email address.

**image** `string | null`

URL to the partner's profile image.

**country** `string | null`

Country code.

**tenantId** `string`

Your external system's identifier for this partner. Use this to match the payout to the correct record.

**status** `string`

Partner status (e.g. `approved`).
